<span id="help-content"></span> ### Sharing your skill with your kids in Amazon Kids ----- Once you've created your personalized skill, you can add it to your child's profile on Amazon Parent Dashboard to use on their own Amazon Kids-enabled Echo devices. **Note:** Giving your child access to your skill does not make it public, only you and your child will be able to use it until you decide to make it public. #### Enable your skill via the Alexa app To give your child access: 1. Open the **Alexa app** 2. Go to the **settings menu** 3. Scroll down to **Amazon Kids** and tap on it 4. Select the name of **the child** you'd like to share your skill with 5. Go to **Add Content** 6. Select the Alexa **Skills tab** 7. Scroll down until you find your skill 8. Switch the **toggle** from off to **on** #### Enable your skill on Amazon Parent Dashboard To give your child access: 1. Sign in to **Amazon Parent Dashboard** 2. Select the **settings icon** next to your child's name 3. Go to **Add Content** 4. Select the **Alexa Skills** tab 5. Scroll down until you **find your skill** 6. Switch the **toggle** from off to **on** Once the toggle is on your child can instantly start using your skill. Repeat these steps for any additional children in your household that you'd like to have access to your skill. **Note:** for kids to use Amazon Kids on Alexa a parent or guardian will need to give permission first. [Learn more](/help/terms?page=children-privacy-disclosure) #### Remove your child's access to your skill If at any time you do not want your child to have access to your skill you can disable it for them on their Amazon Kids-enabled Echo devices via Amazon Parent Dashboard. #### Remove access to your skill via the Alexa app To remove your child's access: 1. Open the **Alexa app** 2. Go to the **settings menu** 3. Scroll down to **Amazon Kids** and tap on it 4. Select the name of **the child** you'd like to unshare your skill with 5. Go to **Add Content** 6. Select the Alexa **Skills tab** 7. Scroll down until you find your skill 8. Switch the **toggle** from on to **off** #### Remove access to your skill via Amazon Parent Dashboard To remove your child's access: 1. Sign in to **Amazon Parent Dashboard** 2. Select the **settings icon** next to your child's name 3. Go to **Add Content** 4. Select the **Alexa Skills** tab 5. Scroll down until you **find your skill** 6. Switch the **toggle** from on to **off** **Note:** your skill will continue to work on any Alexa-enabled devices that have not be assigned to your child.
