### Skill Metrics *** #### About the Analytics dashboard Use the Analytics dashboard to learn how your users interact with skills that you created with Alexa Skill Blueprints. Analytics are available for the following types of skills: * Skills that you've shared with specific users. * Skills that you've published to the Alexa Skill Store. #### Access the Analytics dashboard After sharing or publishing your skill, you can access the Analytics dashboard from any of the following locations: * **Skills You've Made**: Go to the **Skills You’ve Made** page, and click on **Analytics** for the skill you want to view metrics for. * **Skill Details**: Click **Details** to open the skill page, and select **Analytics** at the top of the page to open the Analytics dashboard. * **Stats Summary for the last 7 days**: On your skill's page, see **Stats Summary for the last 7 days** , and click **VIEW ALL** to open the Analytics dashboard. #### Available skill metric categories The following table provides an overview of the different categories of metrics available for your skills: | Metric | Description | Availability | | --------- | ----------------- | --------------- | | Customers | Total number of unique customers who have accessed the skill. | All skills. | | Retention | Usage of your skill over time by groups of customers or cohorts. View the number or percentage of customers who returned to your skill over a 12-week period.| All published skills other than Flash Briefing skills. | | Sessions | Total sessions, successful session types (sessions that didn't end due to an error), average sessions per customer. Includes a breakdown of successful, failed, and no-response sessions as a percentage of total sessions.| All skills other than Flash Briefing skills. | | Utterances | Total utterances, average utterances, and utterance responses.| All skills other than Flash Briefing skills. | | Plays | Total number of times that a user played the skill content. | Flash Briefing skills only. | #### What can I do on the Analytics dashboard? On the **Analytics** page, you can adjust the **Time Interval** to display metrics over a time range and control the **Aggregation Period** to refine the granularity of your data: * Click the **Time Interval (UTC)** controls buttons to change the time range. You can choose either pre-defined ranges or you can define your own range by clicking **Custom Range**. * Click the **Aggregation Period** drop-down list to aggregate on different time periods, for example, viewing **Unique Customers** data aggregated for a single week.
